These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SumoNerd (the "Service"), operated by CrownForge LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

SumoNerd provides sumo wrestling tournament data, wrestler profiles, standings, and related content for informational and entertainment purposes. You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, or systematically harvest content from the Service without our prior written permission
  • Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms

2. Intellectual Property

The SumoNerd name, logo, and original content created by CrownForge LLC are our property and may not be reproduced without permission. Sumo tournament data is provided by sumo-api.com and sourced from publicly available records. Wrestler photos may be subject to copyright by the Japan Sumo Association (JSA).

3. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will be accurate, complete, or current. Tournament results and standings are updated periodically and may not reflect real-time information.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CrownForge LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

5. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites (such as Twitch streams or external sumo resources). We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.

6. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date above when changes are made.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
